Using technology employed by truck fleets to monitor drivers, families are spending as much as $700 for Global Positioning System devices and "black boxes" that feed speed and driving data to an application on the internet. Parents are also buying GPS enabled cell phones that track their teenagers.

I figure children are better off annoyed than dead, parents have opened a new front in the battle to lower teen accident rates, GPS Teen Tracking.
